Behavior Problems
Sue was an 11 year old female with attention and concentration
difficulties at school. In addition she had a poor appetite and
was underweight for her age. Sue also complained of general aches
and pains.
After going through the Distiller questionnaire with her mother,
the final report indicated that Sue may have allergy or sensitivity.
Also the Distiller report indicated a possible lack of Zinc, Iron,
B and C vitamins and essential fatty acids.
After consulting with a Nutrition Medicine practitioner Sue obtained
the following investigations through her General Practitioner.
- Full blood count
- Blood Chemistry
- Iron Studies
- Serum and Red Cell Zinc
- B12 and Folate
- Gluten Sensitivity
- IgG Food Sensitivity Panel
Sue was found to have a sensitivity to cows milk, strong sensitivity
to Gluten plus low folate, iron and zinc.
After a change in diet, including supplementation, Sues parents
and school teachers noticed a significant improvement. She is
now more organised, focused and settled in the classroom.
